OPC red redemption questions

I may have the ability to get a bunch of this years OPC at a greatly reduced price. But, I'm only going to go after it if the red redemption cards are going to be available.

So

1) is there an expiration date for this? I couldn't find one.

2) are there still some Canadian shops willing to send in for a US collector?

We have been told that when they are gone, they are gone. No expiry date.

What's the redemption anyway? Get a pack for each box of wrappers you send in? or?..
