Opinion on 09/10 UD Series 1 and 2 Jersey's

Hi,

I was questioning something. I have been trying to put together a full set of the jersey's but I'm having a hard time. I went to the Expo in Ottawa on Sunday and none of the dealers had any of the cards that I'm missing. I need 5 in Series 1(Gretzky, Yzerman, Toews, Phaneuf and Marc Staal) and 2 in Series 2(Howe and Toews). I was wondering do you think I should sell what I have left or keep plugging away at it. The SP's aren't showing up alot and it seems that on the boards nobody has them or they aren't trading them. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I had an Yzerman from series 1 that sold for 80 bucks. I only saw 1 Howe from series 2 in 2 months of looking and it sold for 300 bucks!!

I say hang in there. I am still picking away at the 05/06 set and still need a few sp's.

lol I am also doing the sets I still need most for series 2 but only 2 for series 1...
gretzky and toews....
there is a trader on hi that has an extra yzerman for series 1...
tanguay is his handle...get in touch with him....
any spare series 2 lmk what you have....goodluck

ya don't give up. there is a mueller i need to finish a rainbow i have been looking for it for 2 or 3 years and still have yet to see one. but i am not giving up on it . you can finish the set just don't stop. they will show up.

I also looked for a Hasek 06-07 for over a year before finding one

Stick with it...it took me a few years to pick up the reaching 50 bure from the 03-04 set...must be a SP and beckett never aknowleged it(or did not care)

Thanks everyone for their opinions I decided to stick with it. Going to start doing the SPGU Authentic Fabrics set in the meantime. I like the look of the cards and it doesn't look like a hard set to do.
