Hey all...

My buddies and I are looking to purchase a Penguins game worn jersey for our bud who is turning 40.

Any opinions on which player to go for?

Currently thinking:

Talbot
Cooke
Goligoski
Letesu
Orpik

Obviously price is somewhat of an issue, but I'd love to hear what you think the best player to go for is and what a max cost should be for that jersey.

THanks

Can't really help you on price, but Talbot is a fan favorite so his jerseys are in pretty high demand. I imagine with Cooke and Orpik you would get some pretty good wear marks. A Letestu gamer would probably be from his rookie year. Goligoski is somewhat of a forgotten player on the team, but has tremendous upside.

If I had to choose one to get for myself, I would probably go Talbot, with Orpik in a close 2nd, Cooke at 3rd, Letestu, and then Goligoski.

I would personally go with Goligoski as he is American and has played for the WJHC team or Orpik as he played for the US Olympic team last year.

Pretty good choices really though - a good gift for sure - good luck!

I'd check prices/availability first. I've wanted a couple jerseys that turned out, wern't in at the time. Other times they mark one set up way higher, unknown why.

I would buy in this order

Orpik
Talbot
Goligoski
Letestu
Cooke (don't waste your money)

You going through J & J distibutors? They seem to have several in stock.

Good points guys.

It's between Orpik, Talbot, and Goligoski...

I don't want to make the wrong choice.

I'm a Canadian so I like Talbot, plus the two goals.

I realize Orpik could be considered somewhat historical since hes a decent American player(in spite of me disliking him.)

Gogs has the most future upside.

The Talbot is the most expensive and Gogs and Orpik I could save a bit of money on.

Decisions decisions.
