Orr 1/1...same card, two different sellers?

The second seller is our old friend TNG, and previously hockcardsforsale on eBay. Both sellers are in QC. I suspect it's an alternate id to help pump the listing. Never mind that it's listing fraud.

I suspected this was him, lost out on a card for sale by hobbycardsforsale or whatever it is, only to see the card relisted a day later... Shilling at its finest

I just dropped a neg on hobbycardsforsale87, didn't realize the connection. Long story short, I bought a Datsyuk Cup Base from him and shortly after he lets me know he sent me the wrong card...a Gretzky Cup Sig Patch. I never received either card, but he gave my personal information to the buyer of the Gretzky and he proceeds to google my name and address to find my work phone # and call me. I reported him immediately for doing that......TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Hey,

I think we may have jumped the gun on the identity of these users. I do not feel this is TNG at all. Will look into this matter, and see what I can come up with a couple answers.

Cheers,

I have HockCardsForSale asking about a Superlative 6 Russians 6/8 on eBay right now. I have that account blocked already for some reason.

That's TNG and he is different from what the OP is.
Russian now dealing out of Akron, Ohio.

Eli, they are the same person. I have been trying to get a card from one for a while and now the other username has it for sale. When I message them they say the exact same answer the other user name did.

I also was looking to acquire a card and the sellers both had it listed. Different prices and all.

However they are definitely selling from Russia. The tracking # from the purchase clearly shows where its coming from and its not Ohio..lol

(TNG, I have dealt with in the past and when they contacted me had the same email.)

I think what upset me the most was the card had been relisted/won and they were still trying to negotiate a deal with me separately.

Oh wells.

Spencer,

Do you have Facebook? Add me on there, buddy. Or send me a PM through here. Don't know if I still have your cell number. As I have a fairly new phone. Chat soon. Merry Christmas!

I have dealt with the person on Ebay, above who was selling the Orr, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that their mailings came directly from Quebec. Really good to deal with and in some cases the cards arrived within a couple days, based on value & shipping method of course. Most definitely not a Russian origin name, in fact quite decidedly french in origin. Take it for what it's worth. Best of the Holidays to you all. -Mike

Whoever it is decided to cancel those auctions shortly after this thread was created. I see they got nailed with a neg on one of their two id's with the buyer stating that seller "hobbycardsforsale87 "shills their own auctions with the rollerman76 ebay account" back in November.

Ebay ID "bigbrobuff" sold "hobbycardsforsale87" a card within the last month based on feedback. As this seller is a regular contributor to the board (Triple B) perhaps they could add to this discussion as they will have this persons real id and location.

The Orr was probably sold and therefore taken down for sale. Not sure I agree with using 2 accounts to sell one card due to the confusion it obviously causes to potential buyers but it isn't criminal so c'est la vie. ;) -Mike
