Don't blame the kid too much for this as his old man was nuts - he went through more garbage centered around the game of hockey before he was 15 years old than anyone should have to in a lifetime. It's never good when you have to get a restraining order against your father while playing junior hockey.
I remember watching him play in the World Junior tournaments and this kid was electric and played hard in all three ends of the ice - there were times that you could see that in LA and times that you could see it in Edmonton although they have gotten less and less as the years have gone by.
Would love to see him have a good chance at playing on one of the top two lines there and think that he could chip in an play pretty well - at this point in his career I am not holding my breath but he certainly has skill, it's just a matter of getting it out.
