Well!

The Russian Super League is making some strange comparisons!

Does Evgeni Malkin = Andriy Shevchenko???

Cause according to the RSL. Seein' as Dynamo Kiev (football/soccer) club received $25 milllion from AC Milan in transfer fees. The RSL is seeking like money from the Pen's & the NHL!

Obviously that's too much $$$ to ask.

When Mlan signed Shevchenko, he was one of the best players in the world and scored 10 goals in 14 games in the Champions League before he left for Milan.

Schevchenko or not, Malkin will not fetch that kind of money from Pittsburgh or any other team in the NHL.
Makes me sick that Russia didn't agree to the IIHF Agreement just so they could hold their players for ransom. If I was the Pens, I'd either a) wait for Malkin's contract with Dynamo to run out, then bring him over or b) if they feel that it's absolutely necessary to fill Palffy's spot with Malkin next year, then take it to court and agree to buy out the rest of his Russian contract and not a penny more.
