Shut up Jason, I know I'm lazy, LOL. Anyway, I'd had some cards piling up I'm finally getting going on uploading and cataloging so I thought I'd show some off:

First up, loved the design of the base cards from this release of UM.

Pretty cool because it gives me, I guess you can call it a rainbow?

Trying to get at least a PSA 7 of all his older vintage cards, here's 3 to check off:

Some random stuff:

I pulled the Vezina Collection Eddie out of my boxes. Didn't hate that!

Couple real big ones here, in my opinion anyway. Always thought this was such a cool set.

Probably as close to a nameplate as I'll ever come, but still love this card!

Now some other cool things. One of my biggest problems with collecting has always been what I felt was not looking at my stuff enough. I've got a 2 slot graded box full of Eddie UM slabbed cards now, and 20-25 PSA cards. I'd been trying to figure out a way to store my cards that made looking at them easier, and just a more organized way in general to store them. I stumbled onto these pages while scouring the web. UltraPro used to make these, and they sell for ridiculous prices now but found these on eBay. Wasn't sure how the quality would be so I ordered a 5 pack of the PSA and a 5 pack of the BGS ones to test out. I think they look FANTASTIC.

They're a little on the pricey side, 5 pages costs 30 bucks, but they also do 25 pages for 100 bucks. Compared to one-touches it's about the same cost, but being able to store these in binders will be AWESOME. You can only fit 5-6 pages per binder, maybe a couple more for the thinner PSA ones but I have a nice oak bookcase my dad built me that I think will look really great with a bunch of binders stored. Plus, how easy to just grab a binder and look through the cards right? The pages hold the cards very securely. Probably so much that you wouldn't want to constantly have to remove and re-insert cards but they seem REALLY nice, and I don't think they would have any issue if the binder was stored on edge.

Hope you enjoy, and if you're looking for a cool way to store slabbed cards these pages get high marks from me so far. I plan to order a pile of the BGS ones, well beyond what I need so I have them for the future.

Wow, those pages for slabs look amazing. I had no idea these existed. Thanks for sharing this!

And congrats on all of your Giacomin additions, you added some stunners! Congrats on pulling the Vezina dual out of your box! That card was made for you.

Love how you use the PSA / Beckett Ultra Por sheets to display / store your slabbed cards.
Great player, in his time, but on a bad team with some potential good players!

Question is "Do you insert the slabbed card face up OR down?
Down would seem logical to protect the front, from scratching, of the cards.

From what I can tell, the surfaces won't touch, so OK to store face up. The pages have a lip to keep them separated so unless you're banging them around I think they'll be fine. I haven't tried storing anything yet. Just something I'm testing for going forward.

Awesome show - I don't know if it was all the cigarettes these guys would smoke in between periods or Ed's early grey hair, but many of the photos of the players in the 1960s/1970s seem to make these guys look like they are way older than their years.

In any event, great to see so much vintage stuff together and in particular, I really liked the "rainbow" as you termed it!

First, amazing pickups! Very nice to hit the Giacomin in your Vezina Collection boxes! I definitely think they were figuring out who ordered what and made sure we got PC cards in our boxes ;) Despite what Dr. Price says

Also, I wish Ultra Pro still made those pages! I picked up a few from our very own @tanguayfan loooooong time ago, and have a few sets in mine as well. I agree, it's a much better way to store them in order to look at them. Congrats on landing the Vintage Lumber gold! I love that set!

I love that ITG Ultimate base rainbow, those just do not show up very often and to get the Series V gold, that is amazing. Congratulations on a very hard to put together piece!

Honestly if those types of storage pages are something you, or anyone here, are interested in, I'd say spend the 30 bucks on a trial with their offer of 5 pages. From what I've seen with the ones I've got, I'll definitely be buying a lot more.

Excellent additions to your PC!!! A few of those look familiar and I am really glad they found a home in your PC. Thanks for the show!!!

LOL, I bet some of them look familiar! Next show and tell thread will too I'm sure. You've got quite the stash apparently. Absolutely love the Emblem Attics and the Vintage Lumber cards.
