Pacific - Riding Shotgun!

Hi, I was just looking at MOGO89's thread regarding some older Pacific cards (well, there are no new ones are there...) and it reminded me of a little subset Id like to complete - Riding Shotgun, basically the teams star player and enforcer, Leafs - Sundin/Domi, Pens - Lemieux/Oliwa etc. you get the idea.

If anyone has any cards I need from this subset Id like to buy them from you! I do already have the following though;

Hawks - Sullivan/Probert
Sabres - Dumont/Ray
Panthers - Bure/Worrell
Avs - Sakic/Parker
Caps - Bondra/Simon
Thrashers - Ferraro/Odgers


Also, if anyone has a checklist for this particular subset I'd appreciate a copy. The cards are from 2002.

Well if the trend is Star ----> enforcer boy have the times changed.. I am not so sure Chara could enforce anything any more

Well good and bad news...

The good news is thanks to Tim (TurcoCollector3) I have the set!

The bad news is that Tim informs there are gold versions too!

I have never seen this sub set before. Please post scans of the set once you get a chance :beer:

I believe this was a subset in the regular set and there are likely going to be 5-6 different parallels. Basically, any parallel Pacific had that year, each card in this set would have one of those. If you're going to attempt them all, good luck.

Glad I was able to help out. I may be wrong but I believe the subset cards only had gold parallels. Whereas the rest of the set had hobby limited, extreme limited, retail limited etc for parallels while the subsets only had golds /100

If I remember right card is not numbered.


Only subset has gold parallels.
