New Friend is I got a pokemon. Had to pick this up while i was at Triangle Area Trading Cards in Cary, NC because this is the perfect posture and image of my little Gabby. Except shes a little black hole with a white mustache.

4 base cards to be added to the set that brings me down to 5 base cards but still need 18 more Young Guns. I still have one pack left of this box and three more to see how close I get to finishing the main set

So after 3 Boxes I have 195/200 Base Cards but only 12/30 Young Guns meaning that I had 6 doubles. Im really hoping that with the remaining 3 boxes I can get the 18 that im missing but then I would need no more doubles and what are the odds that I get that with Upper Deck.

For those that go to my channel and watch the video of me opening the cards, first thank you! But if you stay to the end of the video there is a message to someone named Jaiden. He is my sister-in-laws nephew. And she reached out to me as I was putting this video together with a picture of him putting his cards away. He's only 6 and he loves watching my videos. He doesnt have a fav player of hockey team (he does love the blue jays) he just loves seeing the pictures on the cards and in particular the shiny cards. Since I have a pile growing behind me of all my doubles and cards that I am not putting towards my set, im thinking if putting a box together just for him so that when my sister comes to visit me at the end of the month she can take it back to him and in it Im thinking of finding him 1 or 2 nice blue jay cards like some fun shiny refractors and maybe some of the speckles and outbursts.

This all got me thinking. I remember being that kid. When I was 10 i use to collect all my change and once I had $21.40 I would ride my bike down to the corner store and buy 10 packs of 1990-91 UD Hockey or 1991 UD Baseball. And all i wanted are the hologram cards. This to me, is giving back to the community. Like how DeepPocketMonster Pat (on YouTube) does with pokemon cards. And help create the excitement pulling something special.

Just my reflection of the day.. Saturdays Pack is coming up shortly guys :cool:

The Celebrini insert is pretty cool. I have nothing yet from its rookie season, I want to add something like this one, the Triple Dimension Reflection or maybe something from SPx.

It is always fun to watch your pack breaks!

Thank you everybody who follows this thread and comments and likes my posts. Its small time i know but want to be able to grow this and maybe even return to the community some how. For others thatt want to do the same I encourage them. Remember Videos are posted usually before I post on here with the picture of the hits and the results.

Got another post hopefuly tonight or tomorrow since I went to the shop yesterday and a show today. I havent been to a show like this in a long time as I feel like there were about 100 tables. Unfortunatly the few vendors that I found that had singles/commons/inserts were WAY over priced. Ex Casey Middlestat from last years UD someone had $3 on it. just a base single card. Not parallel or anything special about it. Majority and I mean like 70% was purly Pokemon Cards, followed by mostly football and basketball (duh i live in the triangle) but surprised not as many had baseball.

Did meet a nice gentleman named Jason who did have some more current hobby boxes of Upper Deck. Not going to lie, was thinking $800 for 15/16 Series 1 :ROFLMAO:, althou i think my wife would have killed me. But did add to my Packs by getting another hobby of 24/25 Series 1. So that will be starting up in my rotation soon.
 
Ill be back with posts soon. Work has taken over my life with a deadline looming that i just found out earlier today is pushed to Jan 8 so working with QA to finalize my list of things to do. Videos are shot just need to be edited and uploaded and as soon as I get those up ill be posting the results here.
