Panini "factory Damage" problem

So I recently bought a pre launch pack of Prime and the Dominion pack contained a Kessel Peerless patch, real nice card, only problem is I found a sracth on the card. My question is were it is a nubered card , is there any hope in replacement or is it just as well to save my time and keep as is? Will they by chance exchange for a different card if no replacement is available? and most importantly does anyone have a good contact for panini to help me out that is also not twitter? any help would be awesome

Well my friend....

I really don't have, as we speak, a good experience with high end card replacement with Panini... But maybe some other members do have some.

I have this 11-12 Dominion Pens/Caps Sweeter by the Dozen in the replacement queue for near the 3 months now. There was a big scratch on the back of the booklet so I decided to have it replaced but of course due to the rarity and the value of this cards they don't have the same card available for replacement. Fair enough!

I give them a list of 4 players, then 2 others, that I would like to receive something (High End: Prime and/or Dominion) in compensation but they don't have anything from those players available... Not to mention that I was fair in my pics for those players. Nothing to go crazy on...

A week and a half ago they told me that the Manager will need to finalized the deal (if a deal can take place) but unfortunately he is out of town until the 26 of August so that I need to wait (once again)... And today still no news!

If you really like the card and/or if the card is for your private collection and it's a minor scratch I would say to keep it... If you think to resell it you will definitely loose money on it due to the scratch so have it replaced.

I'm still waiting on a team8 jersey card that came out packdamaged on launch day of Score and I'm still 4-6 weeks from getting it back. My guess is they are remaking the card because there's literally no reason it should take this long to replace a damaged card.
