I don't know about those, but I saw a thread somewhere about cards being sold as "proofs" that were nothing more than the regular card with the back removed. I'm not saying that is the case here, as I'm not familiar with those particular cards.
I've seen a similar listing recently with a baseball set, the 1993 Finest Refractors. (Scroll down for a picture of the front and the back) Again, I'm not going to accuse anyone of anything, because for all I know these do exist, but I'm pretty skeptical. Although if they truly are bigger than normal, as the description suggests then maybe it's something. The sad thing is that this baseball set is quite beautiful, and rare for its time, so it would be pretty sad if someone indeed tampered with it like that.

This was immediately my thought, especially since the "proofs" even have the texturing around the subjects like the actual cards. I'd be extremely "curious", especially since the seller claims to have the whole set. Id like to hear where he acquired them.
I also noticed the items he has from the Fleer liquidation sell-off.
Wasn't there a video a while back that showed how you could remove the cardboard portion of these type of foil/plastic cards and expose the see through part? They dipped it in a solution for a few hours and the card would peel off. I'm pretty sure that's what these so called 'proofs' are.
Those are peeled chrome cards. Not the first time this has happened. This guy is selling you a base card that he has peeled off of the cardboard backing. There were people doing this with Topps Chrome cards a few years back.
The only proof about these is that they are proof that people will do anything to try to make a buck using cards. They are peeled Prizm cards like others in the thread have mentioned.
