I have just witnessed an unbelievable sight during the past few hours! Boston has just concluded the broadcast of the Bruin's victory parade through the streets of Boston atop the famous "duck boats". The estimates of hundreds of thousands or fans showing up was blown out of the water as officials estimate between 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 fans in attendance. It was a sight to behold!

Zdeno Chara kept the "trophy-for-the-fans" plan alive by getting off the duck boat from time to time to bring the Cup directly to the fans. In addition to the Stanley Cup, the boats also carried The Conn Smyth trophy as well as the Eastern Conference trophy.

I am also proud to announce that despite the thrill of bring the Cup back to Boston for the first time in 39 years, there were very few arrests, no viloence, no looting and nothing that would leave any stains on this city or this wonderful sporting event!

Congratualtions again Boston. You made us ALL proud!

I was shocked that it was the largest crown in Boston sports history, they are saying over 1 million people attended. Wow, I thought the Red Sox in 04 would have had the biggest crowd ever, but this speaks volumes about hockey in Boston. For all the people in the opposing teams fan base who bashed Boston for not being a real hockey city, well.......

Went to Copley Square to take part in the event. It was a great day for the City. Glad i was able to take part in it with my dad. I can post some pix later on as i have yet to upload them to the computer.

It was amazing and was awesome being a part of it and going to game 3 in the Philly series and game 3 in the Canucks series, sure glad I was a part of it and the adding some very nice collectibles to my Bruins Den.It's starting to sink in now :)

Man, what a great time!!! I spent a couple hours there in the morning, watched the whole parade with the wife & kids from the corner of Tremont & Boylston, had lunch in Chinatown and headed home exhausted! Posted pics in the Show & Tell section, for anyone interested! It was so relaxed the whole time, THOUSANDS of people just on the block we were on, 15-20 deep from the fence line on the street right back to the buildings, but anyone on the sidewalk was allowed to walk through freely, everyone was cool. Great day for Boston in general. The next morning I got up, had fathers' day breakfast on the road, because we hit a card show where we met John Bucyk and Rick Middleton! This weekend was the best! Glad everyone else that went had fun!!!
