Constructive feedback intended here, not criticism: Are you able to use code so your images show "inline" in the thread body and not have to click external links?

I just use the attachments to post them up. I've tried a couple times in the past to host the images and failed miserably, so I gave up.

Yes, it is the same thickness as the Dealer's Choice. That is really the only difference. If you compare the base AP and DC that you have, they should be different. If not, check them both against the base card. That is how I confirmed one of my copies was the Special AP.

For a non-numbered parallel, that was much harder to track down for me than it should have been. Seems a lot of those blues are that way, especially the 98/99 Dynagon Ice Blue.

I've also expanded my PC once again to include some oddballs/promos with the help of a member of one of the Facebook groups I'm in. It added about 90 cards to the list, now to update my showcase document and get it all loaded to the website.

Well that isn't especially fun to get thrown 90 cards back in the collecting...
But what you gonna do. You can't ignore them once you're aware of them.

I do have several of them already, they just weren't counted against my totals. I still need to go back through and see what I do have that I haven't counted in yet. A few of them are team photo cards and cameo cards that I didn't previously include, and only recently decided to pursue. The cameos shouldn't be too tough, but the team photo ones, especially the Canadiens Postcards ones, may prove a bit tough to find.
