paypal help PLEASE

ok so i opened the e-mail address and inside it says


":you have added [email protected] to your paypal access or account" or something along those lines

how can i prevent a hack happeneing? we have 700 bucks in the bank account and we dont want to lose it, do we change the password or what? we know that we will no longer be usuing PP

quick help is HIGHLY appriciated

If it doesn't have your name at the top, it is fake. Forward the whole thing to [email protected] and they will get back to you for certain. Also, you can go directly to the paypal website and log in to see if there are additional email addresses in there. Just don't use the links in the email.

also another way is, in the email its self. not in this post

hover your mouse over the link, and look at the bottom of your browser, or email client and see if the address that shows up down there is the same...


also why not just log into your paypal account, NOT trough that email, and see if you did add someone to your account....

that would work wouldn't it?

Fake, fake, fake! Some clown is trying to get you to fill in that fake PayPal access screen and when you do you'll have given them your access password which they then use on your real account. -Mike

Go into your paypal account, not through the link in the email but in a separate browser and there is an area for adding an email address to. Check in there to make sure there are no addresses you don't want.
