Paypal Issue Anyone got info??

I recently sold a Dion Phaneuf Be A Player auto freom 09-10 for over $20. Received a quick payment and Paypal says that they are holding the money until August 26. Does this normally happen?

if it is from the sender's checking account. paypal should also be advising you not to mail anything until payment clears.

No warning on that it says that item must be sent for money to clear....

Check your paypal account to make sure it has been added before you send the card. As stated above it usually says do not send until cheque clears or something like that, Dan

If you are a relatively new user paypal can hold any funds at their discretion until feedback is received for the sale from the buyer.

There was a recent (within a year or two at least) message about policy changes on Paypal regarding the ability to hold funds up to three weeks.
