Another day of mail, and another story to share with everyone.
First, I'll show off the PC purchases. From HI member MMarch, these guys:
Loving the look of the Luxury Suite rookie, and the patches on the Rookie Selections. Many thanks to Tony for the deal on these!
Second, the biggest reason I love being in this hobby. CnC user Brittca has been an absolute joy for me to interact with, get to know, and be friends with. Maybe I've got Canucks fan bias, but I've always enjoyed her interaction in Vaughn, and has been an excellent member here.
When she first started, she had mentioned that she wanted to get a few Burrows cards for her ever growing PC. Well, me being a former collector, I scrounged together a fair few dupes and sent them off. Needless to say, she enjoyed them. Tuesday, this appeared in my mailbox. A return package filled with goodies slowly acquired to "repay me".
In it contained these:
A couple dupes she had pulled from group breaks! As well, there were about 15 Score update base, as well as some Canucks Select Cracked Ice update cards from the Expo.
Finally, she got me these from Disneyland:
Mini-figures of Darth Maul, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett (these were in a hidden pack. I bought like 5 of them when I was there in October of 2012)! As well, even more of a surprise was the Vinylmation figure of a Tauntaun!
The Maul and Fett figures are doubles, but there aren't many cooler characters to have 2 of.
