2021 has been a long year for us all I think and towards the end of it I had some vacation time I needed to use up so I took a couple weeks off here during the holidays. Aside from doing NOTHING, my one big project was to reorganize my entire PC. Let's get started.

Too often in the past I found myself not looking at any of the cards I was buying. I'd hunt and chase down cards only for them to sit in boxes. I found my Eddie PC was starting to suffer the same fate, plus it just looked like crap.

I had all of this to contend with...

Hard to store PSA and ITG UM slabbed cards in any real neat fashion but I happened upon some knockoff PSA/BGS slab pages for binders. Basically a knockoff of the old ones Ultra Pro made. I bought a small pack to test out and after liking them, I went ahead and dove all the way in on the project.

So I bouight those...

To go in these....

I believe the term is "stacks on stacks on stacks". That's what the cool people say anyway.

Here's my PSA graded Eddies in their new homes.

A shot of my Auto Threads set in the BGS slab version of the pages.

I also wanted to get all my toplaoder cards in binders as well so I bought some 4 pocket pages and removable sticky dots.

Also worked well for one of the vintage projects I have started...

I really like the way it looks stored like this.

Now, never one to be satisfied with things as-is, and by the help of a very patient and kind HI member, I got these made for the binder spines...

I wanted it to look similar to encyclopedia volumes on a bookcase when stored and I think these fit the bill perfectly.

A test run only to find out 2 shelves wasn't enough room.

Final project, all done!

Personally I really am happy with how it turned out. I think it actually turned out nicer than I expected. Looks very nice and neat and very well organized. Looks very "professonial" so I'll have to credit Glenn for that! It also makes looking through my PC much easier as I can just grab a binder and leaf through it rather than digging out a box and having stuff topple all over the place. It took a fair bit of time but really happy I put the effort in.

Comments welcome. Any negativity, blame on Glenn.

The ITG break was BRUTAL! Just in case anyone wondered.

4 boxes of ITG Franchises? 2 Danny Gare autos and one box was missing a GU.

Best card from 02/03 BTP was a Richter Stick/Jsy.

Did hit a few nice ones out of UM, but overall I got beat over the head by this break, LOL.

Same reason I am keeping the last two boxes of 2002-03 Parkhurst Retro that I found this past summer, sealed and not opening. The odds of me pulling anything I don't already have are next-to-nil, and not like I am probably going to find any more sealed ones. I think the 120+ boxes I cracked over the last 4 years or so is plenty LOL. Do you have one massive scan database anywhere of all of your Eddie G?

That is one heck of a tidy display. Beats my lovely boxes put in storage.

Tough breaks. At least you enjoyed the rush of the break...nothing else in those Franchises? Was Danny Gare the best name to come out?

Dang, that new set up looks classy as hell, I love it! It really does look like encyclopedia volumes on the shelf. Really well done!

I just keep really cool hits that get me excited to hit them...which did not happen! LOL. My Eddie PC can be found in my Flickr linky below. It's up to date less 2 cards that just came in the other day. Everything is just iPhone pics, but still looks fairly neat, I think. I'd bought a nice scanner earlier this year thinking I was going to redo everything but after trying a few the difference just wasn't worth it esecially considering the time involved in scanning versus snapping an iphone pic. Have a look, let me know what you think?

A Denis Potvin auto was probably the hit of the Franchises break. I wasn't expecting much...and got less, LOL! One of the 4 boxes had ZERO game used cards to boot. Really got destroyed on the BTP and Franchises.

Thanks for the comments folks. I really like the way it looks now. Before it was just boxes crammed in everywhere and looked more like a bad fleamarket than a collection. On top of that, the ability to just grab and album and easily flip through and look at cards is a great bonus and one of the biggest reasons I did all this.

I am actually already having the spine labels redone. Nothing wrong with them, they're really sharp, just personal preference. It's my own fault for my choice of color but the brown in these stood out a bit too much. I also needed a few for some set albums on the bottom right there so Mr. Glenn was kind enough to help me out again. Don't tell him, but the dude is a sucker for putting up with my neediness! They're just going to be black backgrounds now so they should blend in with the actual binder spine better and look a little cleaner as a whole. The labels for the sets will be the same styling so will look nice and neat across the row. Extras for expansion too!

The OCD in me loves rows of identical binders.

Mine got the better of me too and I decided I wanted to change the labels to black backgrounds to better match the binders. The gap in the top row was bugging me too so I found I could snugly get 10 binders per shelf. Looks much better in my opinion with the new labels too.

I also needed labels for some set projects I have going...

Hard to get a picture with the reflection from the pocket but they look great!
