I watched this game last night. I was very surprised that Therien wasn't standing on the bench the entire evening. Rantin' & yellin' at this slug of a team.

The Shorthanded goal by Horcroff. What was it, a three on one? The play of the Pens was very uninspired. Almost as if the team didn't care whether or not the game was on going!

u mean Michel Therrien ? from what I hear he flipped out and the old Coach Ed Olczyk didnt want gonchar or palffy in the offseason as they werent workers like the team was in 03-04

It's about time a coach for the Pens stepped up. I wouldn't go as far as saying every player but a good majority of the players are out there playing like zombies. There is no passion, no intensity and little movement on the ice. Therien has to become more of a hardliner and rip into his team. He's got to be agressive and active on the bench during the game. The defense is ghastly and it's time for him to make some changes...whether it's a line shuffle, benchings or call ups...It has to be done.

Big words coming from Therien but he has to back those words with actions!

Somebody needs to tear the a$$ off these guys, it is now sickening to watch their games. Gonchar would be the water boy if I was there, you might as well pay him to sit on the bench if you are going to pay him to take stupid penalties!

791 (+/- rank) Mark Recchi -22 (tied with Berard who is blind in one eye for crying out loud for last place in the league in +/-)

778 Ryan Malone -14

truth be told, St. Louis actually has more players in the bottom of the league in plus minus, but look at their team - they're supposed to ****. Pittsburgh has no GOOD excuse.
