The bad luck for Jordan continues, I feel bad for the kid!

The return of Jordan Staal to the Pittsburgh Penguins' lineup has been put on indefinite hiatus after Staal suffered what appeared to be a hand injury at practice on Monday.

The 22-year old Staal, who has yet to suit up for the Pens this season after undergoing off-season surgery on his foot, was expected to make his season debut in Wednesday's game against the Dallas Stars. This latest setback means that the timetable for his return has been pushed back indefinitely, and it is believed that the delay will be a matter of weeks as opposed to days.

Following practice, Penguins' head coach Dan Bylsma said the Staal would be re-evaluated to determine the severity of the ailment.

"It's disappointing on a couple levels," Bylsma told NHL.com following practice. "But mostly it's personal for Jordan, because he's had a difficult off-season and training camp. And then to get to the point where you're looking to coming back to play and possibly having to deal with another injury is disappointing."

Too bad Jordan.

PENS' STAAL OUT SIX WEEKS AFTER BREAKING HAND AT PRACTICE

The return of Jordan Staal to the Pittsburgh Penguins' lineup has been put on hiatus after Staal suffered a broken bone in his hand at practice on Monday after being hit by a puck and will now miss an additional six weeks.

The 22-year old Staal, who has yet to suit up for the Pens this season after undergoing off-season surgery on his foot, was expected to make his season debut in Wednesday's game against the Dallas Stars. According to the team, Staal is set to undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair the damage.

Following practice, Penguins' head coach Dan Bylsma said that Staal was devastated by the news.

"It's disappointing on a couple levels," Bylsma told NHL.com following practice. "But mostly it's personal for Jordan, because he's had a difficult off-season and training camp. And then to get to the point where you're looking to coming back to play and possibly having to deal with another injury is disappointing."

Very unfortunate for Jordan. He was working very hard to make his debut Wednesday. His return would make the Pens a much better team... Lets hope he heals fast.

I know this has my daughter very upset.. She was very much looking forward to seeing him on the ice..
