Pens Trade Sutter to the Nucks

It's pretty much the completion of the Kesler trade. Rumor was that the Canucks coveted Sutter and wanted him back in any type of Kesler deal. Kesler of course had veto power over any trade and would only go to Anaheim. Kesler goes to Anaheim, Canucks get Brandon Sutter.

I just don't like the face we got stuck with Luca Sbisa, but that's for another thread...

I wouldn't say Gillis was a better trader than Benning. Gillis had one great trade, and a lot of bad ones. And it's too early to judge a lot of the Benning trades.

Just remember that the Kesler trade that everyone despises Benning for stems from Gillis giving Kesler the no trade/no move whatever it was, thus limiting the options Benning had to Anaheim.
