No doubt a valuable card, that should sell for a hefty amount. But when a "private" bidder wins it with 100% of their bids (only one in total) with that same seller, many will question the legitimacy of that auction. Lets see what the next couple of copies sell for.

Real bidder concerns aside, it’s a great thing that a card from UD1 is going for this much. Also, considering the rcs “held” for Series 2 (Svechnikov, Tkachuk, Mittelstadt, Andersson, etc.) I think it’s a pretty good year for rcs. Better than last season. Every year can’t be like 16-17

Not me. Sleeves, if put in properly, and a top-loader are much better for the condition of a card than straight into a one touch

Would like to see a YouTube video. Any link?

I must be doing something wrong with 35pt cards when put cards in top-loaders for my kid's Tim Horton cards. I end up dinging a corner or chipping an edge most the times. I use all one touches for 130pt+ cards and can't see why a top loader could mitigate risk of preserving condition better.

people complain that there's no value in breaks, and then complain that cards are too expensive. I guess we'll never win.

I think the complaint is one of distribution. Value is disproportionately skewed into a dwindling number of monster hits. It is not helped by the fact that there are economic incentives for the remaining cards in a case bearing a monster hit to be sold quickly and cheaply.
