Phantomkid rides again...

It's him, he bid on my auction last week and I pointed it out he won my auction and paid via paypal. Quincy you said last week you bought something from him and it went ok, how come this post now? Anyhow I get an email a few days after I post this on here and it's Adam saying please don't report him to ebay becasue it's his mom's cc he used to start all over again he wants to start over and clean his image or some BS like that. Anyhow it's all nothing to me I have better things to do than contact ebay about him he'd find away back like he always does. Anyhow he monitors these boards somehow since he knew and I only posted it here.

DH - The St. Louis items are a big clue, as he collects them. So's the location - Robbinsville NJ.
 
Is there a way to block people from bidding even when they change their id?This person also pulled a fast one on me but he had changed his id until he won my auction than he was no longer a registered user.It is amasing that in a hobby that is meant to be fun has so many people who will try anything to get an upper hand on fellow collectors.
 
Although I never dealt with him, I appreciate knwoing when he is spotted. I have no issue with victims helping out potential victims. I have no personal issue with phantomkid, but prefer not to deal with him if possible.
 
For what it's worth..
I just did a trade with Adam a week or so ago.
No problems and I received the card two days after we confirmed the trade.

Darryl - The issue for me comes in that Adam is completely oblivious to the rules of the game and what they mean. Suspended means suspended - you're not allowed to use the service any longer. If you want reinstatement, you have to ask politely and expect to hear the answer "no". If he can't follow the rules of the sites we use, what guarantee is there that he'll abide by other rules of conduct?

Yeah, fine, he came through on the one time I bought from him accidentally. Had I known it was him, I would not have bid. And as more than a few people have pointed out - my position as moderator helps.
 
Oh I wasn't pointing you out or arguing with you at all Steve I was just curious and thought possibly the transaction went sour. I have no pity for Adam he deserves what he got, I felt like reporting him to ebay but he came through this time although that's no excuse for him, he still deserves to stay suspended. He'd still find a way back on sleezbay they are pretty retarded over there the way things are run. I mean I waited 4 months for Adam to complete a transacation with me before he got supended you think i feel for him? Anyhow I originally posted the warning for eveyone to see so they can block him on their auctions.
