Took the day off work to go collect the most expensive piece of paper I'll ever own... No, it's not from The Cup or anything like that, rather it's my University degree. After catching up with good friends and professors, I took a little run to the card shop. There was no Hot Prospects left, but there was some Ultimate on the shelf with only one pack missing. I took two of the remaining three packs and here's the damage...

From left to right, top to bottom:
Ovechkin/Malkin Ultimate Duos jersey /50 (I think there's a puck mark on the white Malkin swatch, and Nice two color Ovy swatch too), Dubinsky RC, Lecavalier Base, Elliott Ultimate Debut Patch /50, Sheppard Auto, Roy Base, Hunwick RC

Decent stuff for only two packs... Oh wait... There was one more auto....

I dare say that pull is the icing on the cake of an already good day. I think I'll hang onto everything but the two memorabilia cards, and Jai's got first shot at the Elliott. I'd be looking for Hot Prospects Rookie Patches I need, or good old Paypal for the Memorabilia cards.

you should see what those prices are selling for on the harbor or at least what mine is!

Its sad to say though that "some" *cough Crosby *cough pieces of paper would still be worth more than a degree =/

I was thinking the same thing. But he pulled some actual swag...which never happens at Mike's :p

Gratz on the Price and degree bud. I might just allow you to stay in my province a little while longer yet... :D
