Just doing a bit of surfing! ;)

From the fine folks at tsn.ca

NHL owners will get their first look at the projected salary cap for next season when the board of governors convenes Wednesday and Thursday in Scottsdale, Ariz.

And they may be surprised to learn the salary cap is not expected to be lower than the $39-million US limit it currently sits at this season, The Canadian Press has learned. In fact, it will be higher based on current projections.

Well! More moolah!

I have to be honest I don't know what the books look like and attendance but strikly based on players. The cap seems to be working, I was afraid teams would have to drop a bunch of players with some of the high contracts that had been out there. I have not heard the announcers or players complaining about it or if they are they are keeping it behind closed doors. Hopefully this Cap works for all the teams. I have really enjoyed the open ice this year.

Thanks for the read,.... I thought a year would have settled all this stuff.
