One of this season’s most-anticipated releases, 2015-16 Upper Deck SP Authentic Hockey is ready to offer up a strong selection of signatures from the biggest names in the game along with the hottest rookies.

With an expected release date of May 11, 2015-16 Upper Deck SP Authentic is expected to have a hit or short printed base card in every pack. On average, there are three autographs per box and at least one serial-numbered chase card. Upper Deck has added a few new autograph concepts, including signed booklets, and each case is expected to yield a pair of hard-signed patch autographs.

Continued at Beckett...

Always a top notch product. Interested in seeing some of the new autograph card concepts.

The FW design looks clean and beautiful, hopefully McDavid packs out!

Also appreciate UD throwing back with the Crosby year 2005-06 FW RPA auto variations. :)

I like the looks of the FW Autos, the Retros, and the patches.

I'm not too sure how I feel about the Rookie SOTT, they remind me of Thermal Threats from Full Force. SPA has always made its mark with clean, simple designs. Not getting too flashy like those are.

Looking forward to seeing how the other subsets they mention look as well.

Agreed. I don't like those Rookie SOTT, too cheesy for my liking. SPA needs to be clean and simple IMO.

Really like the look of everything else though! Can't wait to see a checklist!

Loving the looks of this.

The Limited's look amazing as do the Future Watch Autos.

Also like how they changed up the Team Canada content by moving away from the whole "Programme of Excellence" thing to "Great White North".

Looks awesome this year, no work on a Upper Deck updates set, maybe it will be in a later release?

It's under the Insert part

"It is safe to say that this product has successfully integrated the idea of adding more cards to the flagship Upper Deck release and there will once again be an Update Set found in 2015-16 Upper Deck SP Authentic Hockey. Picking up where 2015-16 Upper Deck Series Two Hockey left off, there will be veteran players reflecting late-season trades (1:6.5 packs) along with missed rookies for the Young Guns subset (1:12.5). Each of these cards also has an Exclusives (/100) and High Gloss (/10) parallel for added value in boxes."

thanks, missed that, reading it half asleep, LOL

Traditionally I have not been a fan of SPA in quite some time.
Minus a few subsets, this looks to be alright.
I am going to hold my breath on what the case/box price will be.
In the interim, I will bug my usual suspects for case prices as this will be perfect to unwind with after the Toronto Expo!!

This will be the first huge hit to the "no Eichel signatures" world we live in. A FW /999 without auto is worthless.
