The cover of these looks a little bland, the rest looks decent. Pretty similar to last years release.

Someone mentioned on another site and I completely agree that it looks like they were created in like Microsoft Paint. I could've made a design like that in 5 minutes just messing with a brochure template anywhere on a computer lol. I hope they make improvements to these because it's a cool idea, but the preview shows no sign of them having anything to do with a Media Guide

My senior year yearbook photos were better than this. Of course there was no event used material in the yearbook since it was prior to 1997.

That must be an early early early mock up. The Habs logo is off center and so is the 2015-16 MOntreal Canadiens text at the top. The use of stock images from NHL.com and absolultely no graphics of any kid. This CANT be the final design.

Also, what is a "media guide"? I think this might have something to do with it.

Let's assume Rookie Player has a jersey number of 1. He has a print run of one of those cards, the card numbered as 1/1 being a signed version. He then has a unsigned RCs like everyone else, there being a grand total of zero copies of those?

The 1/1 card will either be autographed (with no non-autographed version) or not autographed (with no autographed version). Either way there will only be 1 copy of that rookie card.

The 2013-14 SPGU Jack Campbell 1/1 is not autographed. I'm pretty sure the 2014-15 SPGU Laurent Brossoit 1/1 is also not autographed, but I haven't seen it to be able to confirm.

Yeah, last season, of the 100 SPGU Rookies, only 79 of the rookies had the last serial number autographed. Not every rookie will have auto'd stickers by that point in the season to produce.

Media Guides are the annual big book published by each team with bios, stats, etc. about each player on the team as well as a primer on the team itself.

And they are indeed big. This year's Habs Guide is 624 pages.
