Line up cards being cut up now as "game used". Oh dear :(

What are you talking about? It's cool, it's different, its innovative.

One second people are complaining how they don't do anything different and as soon as they do, someone has to complain about it. I guess that's just the way it is around here...

I won't buy any again this year, but it's on the line with previous editions. Some interesting cards, but also a lot of fillers and parallels.

Without fillers and parallels you are looking at one card packs with one hit. Please suggest how they should get around it.

It is hard to knock the manufacturer for trying to put out a new design. In the end there is only so much you can do with a small piece of cardboard- so even small, subtle changes are welcome. Also, they need to maintain the same basic design flavor for different products (i.e. you can't design SP Game Used to look like SP Authentic). Lets face it, no matter what, not everyone will love or hate the same thing. The market will take care of a really poor product because it just won't sell. Personally, the product is just too expensive and risky for me to feel good about shelling the $$$, but that is just my opinion on most all UD mid-high end products. It looks nice and I like most of the "hits", but they never seem to show up in the box I purchase LoL...

It would be great if the line spacing on those lineup sheets were a little more generous. Being able to chase after an entire team would be very rewarding (and exensive). But whomever is above Matthews is not gonna get a card!

I agree with you. Seems like they could have just cut the top a little smaller. Not like trimmers are hard to find in the hobby these days!

That 1 of...1 stamp on the Matthews is making my OCD kick in haha

Mine too, lol. Still a killer card.

It would be cool if there was a way to know whose handwriting it is? Or if that info was mentioned on the card somewhere. Like which coach wrote it out?

See, this is the type of comment I can't stand. Everyone complains when it's the "same old stuff" and when companies come up with new ideas, people crap on it. It's different. It may not be up your alley but that doesn't mean it's not cool. I like it and I think they'll be quite popular.

The Matthews Line up card pictured above is a mock-up. Every player from that game will have a card. There will be about 20 teams.

It depends on who it is above Matthews. If it's a fairly recognizable name and the penmanship is good, it can still be made into a card and the name will still be legible, even if the bottom portion is a little cut.

I don't think they'll use the entire Game Sheet, but who knows. They'll probably use a few key names from the 1st & 2nd line + the starting goalie. They'll likely just save the same game sheet to use for the next SPGU product too.
