Hi everyone,

Never have printed postage through paypal but I hear its quick, easy, and cheaper than what you normally pay at the post office. Would any experienced HI members give me a brief walk through of how this priocess is done?

I do have a USPS postage scale and access to a printer (but I don't have the sticker/label paper).

Thanks!
Best wishes!

Not sure how much of a walk through you need - do it once I you will likely have it down pat!

Click on the "Print Shipping Label" tab, enter the shipping service you desire and the weight of the package (everything under 3oz ships for $1.64 with DC within the States) and you will be able to print it out from there. I don't use stickers, just regular paper and then tape it on with clear packing tape - works pretty well.

Keep in mind that this is really only useful for packages that are being shipped within the United States as paypal will only allow you to send Express or Priority internationally (through eBay you can go 1st class internationally for some reason). Also - it only works for payments that are made for "goods" - any gift payments and you will have to go through the manual process unless you use stamps.com or a similar service.

Use it a couple of times and you will have the hang of it - it is fairly user friendly.

As a side note, if it is an item that has sold on eBay, you can ship using First Class Mail intrenationally. Just print and give to your mail carrier (I leave in my mailbox). I love not having to make a trip to the post office on these items, but you really are left to hang out to dry with no tracking. I wouldn't recommend on more expensive items.

I love the ebay shipping labels...saves me so much time its not funny. Also it saves me at least 70 cents or more

Especially when shipping to Canada. If I hand write everything out then I still have to fill out those annoying Customs forms...Makes my hand cramp! lol
