I collected cards in the 90s avidly. I just picked back up again with this years products. I have tried EBay with decent results but too many sellers weigh and pull out good packs and then re-seal their boxes. So, I started using Blowoutcards.com and I have had REALLY bad luck, I'm so tired of Steve Novak autos. My question is how do I order directly from the compan, Topps and Upper Deck mainly, and is it more expensive or is it cheaper?

Not a dumb question

It's actually more expensive going thru the companies. I recommend going to your local card shows or maybe even card stores. Of course they all have to make some profit but going thru Upper Deck or Topps, you will be paying an arm and leg for it. It's straight from the manufacture but it's too expensive. Auction sites are good but like you said, they are dealers that open and reseal them so the trust factor is there.

I don't buy wax much but I recommend going with http://www.dacardworld.com/default.das

You could do beckett online stores too but they are a bit expensive too. http://www.beckett.com/shop/shop.osi

beckett market place.
