Verified Trader,
First a couple pickups:

Finally caved in and decided to attempt this set. Planned to do the Silver version but a little backstory on this is when the sell-sheet came out for this year of BTP the Fuhr was shown and I fell in love with the card. The pad piece is UNBELIEVABLE. Didn’t expect I’d ever see or have a chance to own so when I found it for sale I decided the Gold Set it had to be. Found the Tretiak shortly after and have a really nice Roy picked up as well.

Jason pulled this one after forcing me to sell him one of my cases of 13/14 BTP. We worked out a deal for this one after we both cracked a case. I think the overwhelming amount of hits I was sending him pics of gave him no other option than to start collecting again. Jason, you’re welcome.
Now, on to the break. I’d been breaking various stuff here and there and really began liking 13/14 BTP the more I busted it. Cheap, loads of fun, and some potential MONSTER cards. I was able to find some good pricing on cases and due to volume buying managed to get a discounted price. I ended up opening something like 15 total cases of BTP over the past month or so. Mostly 13/14, a case of 06/07, 1.5 cases of 11/12, and a half case of 10/11. Had an ABSOLUTE BLAST doing it.
Without further blah blah blah, here’s my top 75 hits! Enjoy!

Really like these cards. Attempting to do the set of these.

Some great patches in there. Love the old Atlanta Flames patch.

Absolutely love these cards too. Another set I’m planning to attempt. 97 cards, all #/9 so it’s going to be a rough one but the cards are really sharp.

When some nice Roy patches barely crack the Top 50 of a break, you know some good stuff is coming!

Patches could be better but hey.

Both #/5

The Hackett patch is insane!

Breaking into the Top 30 now.

Gold 1/1. Some may rank this one higher but it’s just where it fits into the break for me.

Great pad piece!

#/10, great looking card! This didn’t make my top 25! Are you kidding me??
And now the Top 25 of the break. Prepare yourselves!

25. Sharp patch pieces on this one.

24. You may be noticing a Roy theme. He followed me in this break pretty good and I was not about to complain.

23. Looks like the pad chunk may have some stitching repair work on it. Thought that was pretty neat.

22.

21. This would be much higher in my rankings had it included a pic.

20. Gold 1/1 and the pieces on it are fantastic for such small windows. Really sharp card.

19. Roy and friends.

12-18 in the order of your choosing.

11.
Now onto the Top 10!

10. What a pad chunk!

9. Love these cards.

8. Speaks for itself really. Awesome old vintage!

7. Very cool!

6. Three color Plante! 1/1.
And now the Top 5.

5. Pic does not do this one justice at all. Absolutely awesome.

4. Gold 1/1. Piece of the freaking “A” from a 1930s New York Americans jersey. How awesome is that?!

3. Nothing to say other than WOW.

2. Seriously this is number 2?? Patch is absolutely INSANE.
Now I’d finished up all my BTP cases and had everything ranked in order of best hits. I had to stop and grab some supplies at the LCS and decided to try a box of Stickwork. Was in withdrawl from lack of any more BTP to break so I caved in.
Folks,I give you the top card of my 2 months of breaking insanity.

Number 1, and 1 of 1. Kaboom!
There were plenty of cards already sold that didn’t make the list. A couple Full Gears, a Healy One Of A Kind, etc but these are my personal favorites. I’d probably opened 3-4 cases of 13-14 BTP up until this insanity and had never hit a Jumbo Pad, Nameplate, One Of A Kind. Aside from one stinker of a case of 13/14 these cases were pretty loaded. One half case yielded a Nameplate, One Of A Kind, and a Jumbo Pad. I feel like I really crushed these cases!
Hope you enjoyed the thread. I can't even describe how much fun this was. I'd get home from work and crack a 10 or 20 box case and it was like being a kid at Christmas all over again.
