Production comparison between 1985 OPC and Topps

Good Evening,

Can someone please tell me which would there be more of:
(total number of cards printed)

1) 1985 OPC Gretzky
2) 1985 Topps Gretzky

And if possible, could you please explain (in general) the numbers of hockey cards printed in the 1980's regarding:

1) Topps, an American company printing hockey cards, which probably was not a "big draw" for them.

2) OPC, a Canadian company printing hockey cards, which was probably a very popular product for them.

There's a great book out by Richard Scott that dives into O-Pee-Chee. I read it a few years ago and need to give it another go. Doesn't answer your question, but a fascinating read nonetheless...
