Puck or Pigskin???

I don't want to make this a dispute about game user cards since every sport has it's fair share of manufactured game used cards. It just came to the top of my head that a couple of hockey products do compare to hockey products and looking at the current artifacts breaks, can it be said that artifacts is comparable to the football products i mentioned earlier??

the funny thing about this years artifacts sheds some light on the value of products that focus on parallels. clearly, such a set severely hinders the market of these cards and it looks like artifacts finally numbered their cards to reflect this trend.
 
I'm snapping up Topps Finest mini boxes here and there because I've always been hooked on refractors. Plus I can live with 59$ - 6 pack breaks right now. In the two boxes so far: Eli Manning Plate 1/1 Magenta/Mareus Plate 1/1 black/Newton Atomic Refractor/a couple jersey auto rookies/4 common refractors/Pettis patch rookie auto/Brady refractor 399/ and this refractor from the last break. This stuff would be gold in hockey. Here's one of the better pulls from my last box, Newton blue refractor/99.

^You got all that in two boxes/4 mini boxes?? Impressive. The refractors that Topps makes in it's products have always attracted collectors since they just look neat and if you trade using book value, you get pretty decent bv return in each pack of Topps Finest since I think it's a rookie per pack.
 
wowza, that is pretty crazy. I think this entire topic brings about the topic why Topps doesn't dive into the hockey market???
