I've noticed this A LOT when scanning my Fleury cards for my website... most of this year's cards have been cut crooked. I originally thought it was just here and there, but it's a much larger issue that I thought. The cards seem to be cut correctly along the short edges, but the long edges are off, sometimes by a lot. Check the scan of the Be a Player base I provided. Please take a minute and check yours to verify I'm not going crazy. I placed a straight Red line on the top and bottom of the scan to make it a little more clear.

Just to make sure, because sometimes my scanner likes to play tricks on me, have you tried placing a set square / straight edge next to the card's corners? Is it really the card?

No offence meant of course, I just wish it to be a 'scanner thing' more than I wish to blame UD.

Cheers,

Hey there... thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, "been there, done that". It's the card, 100% without a doubt.

i noticed that with ultimate baseball - my dual griffey jr./griffey sr. auto & my rick porcello rookie auto are both cut crooked. i can't even fit them in the right sized holder, you have to go up a couple of sizes...

and so it goes on & on & on.

I've scanned over 300 cards from my collection for my website, and it is rare to find one cut straight. UD does an awful job with this.

The last couple auto'd football cards from UD that I have received have been HORRIBLY cut as well. I thought it was my inability to scan correctly until I tried the same card 3 different times. I compared it to another and immediately noticed it the poor cut on them. I am none too pleased.

This is nothing new. I scanned a card from 1998-99 yesterday and it seems a blind man cut it. I can point to an SPGU signets card from 03-04 that was cut in the dark.

I will say that Pacific was terrible at cutting memorabilia cards, I notice those far more often that anyone else.
