Out of the swing of things with travel of late, but this one's off the 'bay, and goes nicely with the auto'd version of the same Espo bust, and the auto'd 500 Goal variation, too...
I have to say, this is the first one I've seen in person and I like it much more than I thought I would. The bronze is real well done...
This next one was changed to "In Stock, Will Ship Soon" last October (which doesn't speak to how long it showed as "Athlete Committed to Signing - Be Patient" - arrrrrrrgggghhhhhh!) on the UD Redemption site.
Anyway, it read as "In Stock, Will Ship Soon" for close to 5 months, with no movement and no legitimate responses to any of my inquiries until Karvin got personally involved. While I still don't like that it took sooooooooooooo many phone calls and emails with multiple stories being fed to me about its fate by others, it's clear that when UD puts the right people on the job, it can in fact deliver what it promises. It took about a week and a half to get it here once Karvin got involved. I have to give kudos to him for personally contacting me to discuss the matter on the phone and putting my concerns at ease. Obviously, a gent who cares about the hobby and collectors, which may make him the proverbial rose among thorns, but I digress!
Funny, when I redeemed it, Thornton was still the major star of my PC! Now? I'm just glad I still collect Howe!
