question about 05-06 black diamond rookies

i was organizing my traders today and i realized my black diamond mike green rc has gold on the bottom as well as gold trim on the back but my lundqvist is all silver. i did some searching on ebay and noticed some have gold while some have silver. i know there is a gold parallel /10 but these arnt them i dont think. why are some regular rookie gems silver and some gold?...is it just a weird variation. also from what i seen the parallel versions are numbered on the back so i know these gold arnt those...any help

thanks. i was thinkin it might of been the rookie update but i got confused since the real gold parallels on ebay look identical to the updates except no numbering on these.
