Question about COMC shipments during these crazy times

I want to place a COMC shipment, but the estimated arrival for the order would be in October some time if I chose standard shipping. All the other shipping options are way too expensive. I recall it taking 2-3 weeks to recieve a comc order before this pandemic was upon us. Has anyone placed an order in the last month or two? And if so, does it actually take that long or did you get your package sooner?

I requested a shipment March 26th, and it shipped today. Original estimated ship date was June 26th.

I believe their current issue is two fold - there are the delays in the actual mail system, but the bigger issue is the available staff in their fulfillment Center AND if your shipment includes cards from their Canadian and American facility, they have to deal with transporting across the border before getting it to you. In normal times, no issue. Right now? Big issue.

I've ordered stuff from COMC recently and noticed those type of shipping times as well. Crazy, but it's understandable given everything happening right now and how their business model works.

I placed an order in April, its due in mid to late July now.....I also have more cards I want to buy but waiting until October doesn't sound that appealing.

When I was looking into shipping it was like 90 bucks for 6 month shipping and 110 to get it in a couple of weeks. Isn’t that worth it for most people?

Who is this bozo? Just re went in to comc and it’s over double!!! 100 bucks compared to 200. That’s a big difference!!!

I requested shipment for a card a couple weeks ago and it said it would be around two months for their standard shipping. I received the card four days later.

Washington was one of the first to order a lockdown. Staffing is nearly impossible under the current conditions. Add to that the massive increased demand on nearly all fronts...it's understandable.

I requested a shipment on April 1 and it just shipped June 11. That's actually 3 weeks earlier then the date I was originally given for a shipping date.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. So it seems like it’s very hit or miss. I’m not sure I want to gamble on it yet. Maybe waiting another month or two might give more answers on the shipping situation

It's tough to figure out how the following few months will go. As crazy as it sounds given the past several months of lockdown, the highest amount of new cases in a day worldwide was today. Previous high was yesterday.

Times are a bit strange.. only have 1 card waiting... So no rush in doing a shipment right now. for some reason economy & economy rushed are the same price. of course many here are not in USA so waiting times might be worse

I just placed a rather large order at the end of May.
I chose the next step up for shipping and eta is apparently sometime in August.
Although I’m in no major rush, I don’t like the fact that I spent a considerable amount of PayPal funds and have nothing to show for it for the next few months.

I picked up a couple of cards in the last week on COMC and ePack that I'm really excited about so I finally bit the bullet today and requested a shipment. Got the same timing as you, Fri July 10, for Economy Rushed.

I've recently done a couple of big orders via ebay and they are very fast about those. 4.99 flat rate.

Last week I requested a shipment from COMC as I have about 60 cards incoming, the expected shipping date in mid October with and arrival date of the end of October. I'm in no rush for the cards and I figured that if things get better the date could improve, and if things get better there will be an influx of shipments and it would be into next year before I see anything. I think the dates we see are the worse case dates at the present moment.
