Question about ebay

Any help on this would be appreciated. When I go to register on ebay, it says that I have to have a Mastercard or a VISA card. I don't have either (I do have a card though), so is there any other way to register, or am I out of luck?

I think they started that requirement recently because of all the minors (under 18) signing up.

i remember when i was able to join back in the day without a card....

I think you only need a credit card if you are using a "free" email address (ex. hotmail). If you use an aol address I don't think that you need a credit card to register.

Thanks for the help, but I don't have an e-mail address that I pay for. I let my parents have that one

But I did try the Live Help thing, and it was, well, helpful! I found out that there's also the option of them mailing you a letter to confirm your stuff, so I did that one. The Live Help person said that should be fine.
