Question about Parkhurst

Question about Parkhurst: rookies not labelled as rookies???

Hi,

I was looking at my Parkhurst cards, when I found this: Jaroslav Balastik is number 150 in the set, while he has a RC in an other UD product, Trilogy (from RU wax).

I was wondering if there are other players who have RC in others products, and who have a card in the 1-500 set of Parkhurst instead of being into the Rookie subset?

It reminds me of MVP SCE days, when there was a RC subset at the end of the set, and a few RCs among the regular set.

I think there are a few other guys who are RC's and are in the #1-500 Base set. Bochenski comes to mind, but there may be a few others too. Hope this helps. Also, You can go to the UD website and check the checklist. Mike

So far, I found:

150 Jaroslav Balastik
393 Erik Christensen (wasn't he in UD II???)

If anyone think about any other guy, I would like to know it.

It would be nice to make a list of the RC from Parkhurst that aren't in the rookie subset.

I think Michel Oullet is in the base set, rather than the rookie subset?

In Chicago part of the set these two rookies are in the main set:

110 Rene Bourque

Just checking out some more cards, I think I saw Dustin Penner as a part of the set, rather than the rookie subset.

After spending some quality time with Upper Deck's Parkhurst checklist, here are the rookies I spotted that were included as part of the base set, rather than being included in the rookie subset.

Eaves has a base card in the Sens part, and then a rookie in the same set...LOL!

I am nearly certain that these two are not RCs...

As for the Ouellet someone mentioned above ... he was in the preliminary checklist, but UD must have finally realized that he was a true rookie this year and he's one of the "holdovers" they have already named to have their RCs next year ...

I don't know if there will be any specific activity around these singles on the secondary market. What do you think about it?
