I have an opinion question as I have seen ITG come out with some nice goalie cards as of recent of older goalie‘s from the 1950’s through 1970’s etc…

In your opinion which of the goalies from the 1950’s-1970’s era are coming out with new cards (game Jersey’s, signatures, etc) that are of affordable prices?

-from ALL brands of cards. Just used ITG as an example because this is one that I have seen come out with quite a few, but realize that Upper Deck and other brands have put out some nice cards-

I'm looking for 1 or 2 goalies from that era that are coming out with enough cards to possibly start a collection.

thanks,
Matt

For some reason ,Glenn hall always sticks out as I have got some amazing prices on his franchises stuff over the past 3 years. Count all his itg stuff with st Louis as well. Don't understand it ,very underated!!!

Cheevers always has game-used and autos in releases. And he has a kick-*** mask to boot.

I started a player collection of him late last year and gave up when sanity hit me (I already invest enough time and money into my Jagr stuff). I was going for just autos and game-used, and the amount of Cheevers wasn't prohibitively high. And some of the older stuff rears its head just frequently enough to make it fun.

Thanks everyone for throwing so many names at me! If anybody else has any others please continue to share your thoughts of vintage goalies that have some good cards that have come out.

711ofovertime - have to say that your right about Giacomin. Don't think a lot of Rangers fans forgot how much he was worth after he was traded to Detroit. Having the New York Rangers booed in the Gardens while newly acquired Detroit goalie Giacomin's name being chanted...Eddie-Eddie!
