Question; Ex 2000 Connor Bedard Autographics???

Question for the board, I follow three hobby boards, Facebook, and eBay and I have yet to see anymore do a post about pulling an Autographics auto of Connor Bedard. The card was pictured on the sales poop that Upper Deck put out and he is listed on the checklist.

Has anyone pulled one or seen one?

I am guessing he would be short printed but what Beckett posted it wasn't listed as a short print, Just wondering if he is in the product or did Upper Deck put one over on us with an awesome picture?

I continue to check Facebook, three hobby boards and eBay and I still have yet to see ONE Connor Bedard Autographics card. I am beginning to think Upper Deck lied to the hobby and didn't include his auto in the pack out.

Just my opinion.

I'm curious how many of other players you've seen? Perhaps it's just lightly broken so far or people are hanging on to them, hoping he starts to get some hobby upswing. I don't follow the Bedard market myself, but it's got to be fairly soft right now, no?

Yes, I think the product is soft as it is way overpriced for what you get and so many of the cards come out damaged. I know I have buyer's regret for spending what I did on the product.

As for the number of autographics pulled there are hundreds listed on eBay but I have yet to see a single one of Bedard. Maybe if someone actually pulled one it would be for the PC and they didn't post it anywhere, just kept quiet but then so many break and sell, I thought if he is in the product, someone would list it on eBay, a hobby board or a Facebook group

While not disclosed in sell sheets or in the Beckett checklist for it, could it be a possibility that Upper Deck was withholding the Bedard Autographics cards to be an epack exclusive? Like you said, even if it was a short print or super short print, some collector somewhere would have posted about pulling the biggest rookie auto in that subset, even if it was just a redemption.

I just did a search for Ovechkin and Modano (current listings) and I don't see those two cards listed either, perhaps with that many on the checklist and the limited odds, some are SP'd and upper deck just didn't disclose the information

Or they're coming out damaged and people are sending them back for replacement - I know I'm more likely to do that with a valuable card than a no-namer.

I got curious and emailed Upper Deck with my question. Their response:

"I'm assuming if it's on the checklist, the card was produced. I have not heard anything about that card specifically."

So I guess we don't know. I too wondered if it was only going to be in epack. If that is true, then it sucks big time I would not have bought the boxes I purchased knowing the auto I hope to have a chance of pulling was no even in the hobby boxes.

Oh well, life goes on.

I pulled an autographics and since it is just like most cards, no damage at all since it is not the same style of cards like the base EX 2000

At the price point and with all the reports of widespread damage, this product isn't being opened. That's why we aren't seeing the SP'd cards.

I've only seen two Fantilli so far. If Bedard's shortprinted, and given that this product is as yet lightly broken...it is possible that they remain buried.

It's sad that UD has so many issues with quality control. I really like some of the designs in Allure like the Color Flow, and of the design of the EX 2000 base cards, but card damage kills the excitement.

They're all on e-pack.

Easily top 3 of cards I've ever pulled was on e-pack. I have spent much less than $1,000 on e-pack. And that's full-blown retail price. I do not want to know what I've spent on Hobby boxes to find the annual average cost.

But I don't like how many of these hits or entire sub-sets are released on e-pack only. Makes me feel worse about my odds when opening up a box now.
