I watched him play in college a lot and he was unbelievable and played better when the games mattered the most.
I can't speak to how he has played in Toronto as I haven't seen him much but I think he has the pedigree to be a fantastic player - definitely a top six guy who has the potential to be even better.

He reminds me of Michael Ryder in his style of play, more at a 2nd/3rd line level long-term thought, so a poor man's Ryder in that sense (although Ryder has had several seasons at that level).
He needs to work on getting in to better scoring areas in the NHL though, which is always a learning adjustment for most young forwards.
