Question For Meigray Buyers

Are their prices negotiable? Have you ever gotten a significant deal on something? (Besides summer sales or grab bags).

I would love to pick up a Leafs gamer some day but the prices for players I am interested in seem pretty high considering their caliber. Maybe it's because the Leafs sell really well so prices are jacked.

It never hurts to ask. I emailed Barry directly a few times and he was able to come down in the price.

I just called on one, and they seem to be somewhat negotiable. The one I called on was a consignment, so they are calling to ask the seller for me.
If they have one you want, call and ask. The worst they can say is no.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I see they also have a layaway program, that would certainly be a big help if I decided to make the plunge.

Let's say a jersey has a price tag of $1,000, what do you think would be a reasonable price to ask for? I would like to get a deal but at the same time I don't want to waste their time with a foolish offer.

Depends on the jersey. Is it something that will be included in the next Summer Sale? Will there be another Black Friday sale or Holiday sale? That's stuff I'd bring up when I call. See if they can give you the next sale discount now instead of having to wait. If it's a consignment jersey they may not be able to do anything for you.

As far as I know it's not a consignment jersey, would that be noted in the item description?

I will definitely keep these tips in mind if I call.

Some consigners will give a deep discount on one item if another has sold earlier. I think in a past motivated consignor sale one item went for half the original asking price.

I asked about a nobody player jersey and said I messed the summer sale on it and they said they'd give me it there, too.

Just ask.. I got my 96-97 JB Washington Capitals Brendan Witt for 750 it was consigned at 850. I got an email back in an hour saying theyd take it.

It turned out the consignor was Meigray itself

yes, i believe they are negotiable. Im pretty sure that Barry will sometimes want to get rid of gamers from previous seasons, especially if the player isnt that big of a star in the nhl. Like a couple otheres have said...it doesnt hurt to email them and ask
