Question for Red Wings Fans/Collectors

I was cleaning up my trader boxes and came across the Mr. Hockey inserts from blaster boxes from a couple of years ago and thought that I'd try and put the set together for my Father-in-law. I still don't understand it but he's a die hard wings fan living in Montreal?? Anyway Howe and Yzerman would rank as his favorite 2 players, so I was wondering if anybody had an idea for an Yzerman set I could put together for him. Preferably something I have a reasonable chance of actually completing.

Also if someone could suggest an auto set that has both an Yzerman and Howe in it, I might try to get the 2 and frame them next to each other.

02-03 UD Premier Auto's has 'em both in the set. 02-03 SOTT's would be another one. Both sets are attractive and feature hard-signed auto's.

Did you want an Yzerman game used set? If so you could do the spx tribute set from a 01-02 I believe. They look like these

Cool set with home and away jersey's, home and away pucks and home and away sticks. Pretty easy to put together also...

for the autos you can't go wrong with sott autos but my favorite auto set with both is 02/03 spgu signature styles they have a window w/ the auto
their not hard signed but make a clean sharp auto good luck, keith

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I like the idea of the 02-03 SOTT's, now to start trying to track them down!

As for the Yzerman sets, I'd thought of the tribute set, but technically the auto's are part of the set (and as father-in-laws go he's great, but not THAT great). I'd like to do something where I can give him the complete set, was really hoping there was some type of insert set or something specifically or Stevie at some point in time. Any other ideas out there?

You could also go for the 02-03 SOTT Dual Howe/Yzerman... Might even be cheaper than picking up the two separately.

My advice is to hire a Cat Burglar and send him to Wingnut888's or Suitman's house. It would save a lot of time. Mike
