Anybody else having a difficult time locking in cases for this year cup? Every year a few friends and I get together and do a Huge break. However this year we are having a real hard time locking in product. In previous years I was able to obtain from many different sources easily over 100 cases for us to break. As of right now, this year I will be lucky if I can secure 15 total. Just curious if anybody else is having a similar problem and also if you were able to lock in some cases, please post at what price. Thanks in Advance, Mark
P.S If anybody knows somebody looking to move cases in quantity, please let me know.

From what I read on D&A's, The Cup has been cut back in production by a significant margin. So that might partially explain why you've had some difficulty it locking in so many cases.

Sorry to hear about your trouble Mark. I have had no problem whatsoever. Just today, I have received about 10 phonecalls confirming orders.

Easy P.K!! U might be banned from the break this year anyway since last years break turned you into a kleptomaniac!

BTW, do you think it might not be a good idea for us to do our break at a Casino? I was thinking about it and that might be too nutty especially if we get the Hustler Ho to come.

hmmm...would be interesting to see if they accept Cup base cards at the Blackjack table.

Mark,

A little off topic, but I was just wondering if you used to set up at the Tri-County Flea Market in the late 90's?

It's 2400 CAD over here. Don't have a number on how many i can get yet though... almost 100% won't be in the double digits though.

Wasn't someone saying that distributors were being told how much they were getting, and couldn't exceed that number at any point? That might explain the difficulty in getting cases.

from what ive heard each distributor is allocated a certain amount and thats it . no more after that and production has been cut back %30 so that means numbers are quite down this yr. thank god i got my 2 cases knowing that you guys are tryin to get that much lol

Probably Pro-Set Platinum. Remember, HIGH END only

That's right, I believe Pro Set was available for purchase at the gas stations back then.

or collectible glassware, stereo speakers out of the trunk of the car, used clothing...something really good no doubt!

Weren't cassettes and LP's popular sellers in the 90's too?

Not me. I have NEVER set up at a show, Flea Market etc... ever anywhere. Sorry Lee for the let down. BTW, I probably opened 150 boxes of Pro Set, no joke. Looking for that Damn Stanley Cup Hologram, never pulled it.

P.S Lee we are now locked into 13 cases so hopefully we can get another 20 or so.
