Hey, do you guys trade for trade bait? It seems like I only trade for cards I want to keep for myself. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong. I see a bunch of threads from folks talking about a mail day and then say all are for trade. I guess I depend on my box breaks for trade bait.

Just looking for some input.

I do ..u cant always get what ya want so ya gotta get stuff u can trade for stuff ya want ..... or a nice card of someone ya dont like even
 
Normally I trade for things from my wantlist, or things to go into the PC. But, if I have something someone wants, and I'm not too attached to it, I'll trade for trade bait. I've actually been doing alot of that lately. I'm waiting until I've acumulated more stuff, then I'm going to do a major tradepage update.
 
90% of the time if someone wants something from me, I'll find just about ANYTHING in return to get it from them. Why? trading is fun! Honestly, if I can help someone out, then it's worth it, plus, I get to shake up my tradelist a little too, and own some different cards. For me it's mostly about having fun and making acquaintences and trading partners online. You never know when helping someone out will come back to help you out later as well.
 
90% of the time I trade for my PC.... Honestly, I'm low on trade bait now because of it. I buy and trade for ONLY things I wanna keep. Rarely do I acquire cards just to turn over.
 
i was having trouble a few months back as i ONLY traded for my PC, hurt me. but now ive been more open minded and traded for any cards.
 
I went 4 years of collecting with only picking up trade bait. I never really had anything that I went after. I would just go after cards that I thought looked nice and threw them in my trade bait for another card that i thought looked better. I find that collecting one player really hurts your collection.

I do the same and found that you have to get some bait, so you have something to get more. I am at a point were i gave up so much to get those cards i wanted and now, picking up stuff to have ready--great question--kj

I for the most part just traded for my personal collection, but being a Lundmark collector and having about 95% of his cards makes trades few and far between. So over the past few days I organzied my traders and what not and just gave'r. I've made a bunch of trades all of them I'm really pleased with. I just go for stuff that I think will be easier to move when I do need to trade for a Lundmark.
