Quick expo question

Im heading down with a buddy and we will both have weekend passes. I want to take my son for one day only, he is 7 so he is free with the coupon in the expo book. Do I have to wait in line to present the coupon at the ticket window even though I already have a pass??? OR can we just head right in???

I assume you have a dealer pass otherwise you would have to wait in line at the front door anyway. It would make sense that only the box office at the front can honour and validate coupons. Also they probably don't have any day wrist bands available for sale at the dealer entrance. Therefore, unless someone from the show staff knows differently its seems logical that you will have lineup to get him in. Or you can arrive an hour late and avoid the lineup.

hmmm maybe I assumed wrong here I have always gone for one day this will be my first time going all weekend. So if i buy I weekend pass I still have to wait in line to get in?? Only the dealers can bypass the line? I mean I wont have to go to the ticket window all three days if I have a weekend pass right ???

They sort into separate lines for daily and weekend passes on Saturday and Sunday. At least they did in the pass!

That is correct. The only advantage of having the weekend pass is that you avoid the line to get tickets.

Yes, you will avoid the line with the passes and you don't have to wait in line to get your son in with the coupon. They take those at the entrance. Enjoy!
