Raiders owner Al Davis dies
Al Davis, who owned the Oakland Raiders of the NFL, has died.
Davis, who famously coined the phrase "Just win, baby," was a constant thorn in the side of NFL commissioners.
After serving as a coach, in and then commissioner of, the upstart American Football League, Davis became managing partner of the Raiders in 1972.
He built a club that won three Super Bowls and five AFC championships following merger with the NFL, but saw his team fall on hard times in recent years.
Davis also shipped his club to Los Angeles and then brought them back to Oakland.
