Random "Wal-Mart sells this stuff????" live break

So...stopped into Wal-Mart tonight with the crew and picked up random odds and ends for my buddy's fiancee who just moved here.

At the checkout, what did I see?

Fairfield packs??? At Wal-Mart???

These are the "guaranteed $50 in catalog value" ones though, not the game used ones.

Picked up 2. They also had the "35 random cards for $3.97" thing, and happened to see the glint of a 95-96 Platinum Players Club card showing out the side of the front one so I decided to take a gamble (big spender I know ) and pick it up.

Will break after a response.

Alright, went with the "I wonder what Platinum Players Club card this is" curiosity 35 pack first. I don't know what the real highlight of this is...the fact that it contains great future Hall of Famers like Adam Creighton and Dan Tanevski...or these amazing rookie cards of Janne Ojanen...or these low numbered 1 of 24,000 Signature Rookies Miracle on Ice cards

The Platinum Player's Club card though? Pretty good...Felix Potvin

Pack 1 contained the entire Heads Up HD NHL insert set. No BSing...that's all it contained.

Pack 2 is even more bizarre. I can't even find this set in the OPG...it's some sort of die cut 2002 Pacific World All-Stars 10 card set
