Now that jagr appears to be done for the playoffs. Does this mean that the N.Y. Rangers are done and will watch the rest of Lord Stanleys cup from home? Curious what all you hockey people think, this is coming from a Football guy.

I thought they were done going in. The Devils are on a ROLL! It is going to take a more Physical team to beat them.

Rangers are done, if Jagr only misses 1 game they still have a chance. But Devils have been on a streak for sometime and look like they will win the series.

WOW!

IMO, this is a might premature! Even with JJ out, I'm of the opinion that the 'Blueshirts!' Should be able to at least bounce back and make this a series!

Just my two cents thrown into the fray!

Brian

^ while he's known for the melodramatic, this looked a bit more serious.

and usually when he's playing it up, he doesn't give quotes like he did.

yes, it is like my Grey hair. A bit premature but happening regardless of my opinion. I know that it the series, not a single game that determines the outcome. The Rangers will only win 1 and then go home to lick their wounds and Jagr will retire. :) JK

Did anyone else notice that Jagr was slumped over in pain until he thought he was out of camera view in the tunnel?? A miracle must of happened then, and he was standing upright and walking !

Seems like the Jagr of old, but this season he has been competing and appears to care, this seems out of character for this year's J.J.

Hard to say but if Jagr is out for awhile that will hurt the Rangers chances but I can't count em out with the man between the pipes!!! A goalie can carry a team in the playoffs. I still think the Devils had a better team coming in but I really don't see the eastern conference enough so I should probably duck out of this one now....ducking and running

Jagr and the Rangers both had great seasons. Jagr will be back and this will be a greaty series...if you can handle watching NJ play BORING!!

I agree with Brian, with or without Jagr this will be a good series. Don't count JJ out just yet, he may surprise you.

I'd like to see him come back for the remainder of the series. I'm by no means a Jagr fan, but I'd like to see a team knock out or at least knock down the Devs before they advance. If Jagr is out, NJ will cruise to the second round, IMHO.

Jagr will come back and the rangers will steal a couple games as for the series i dont see them beating the devils even with a healty jagr. I said it all along i would rather play ottawa then the devils in the first round :(

I would have taken the Rangers instead of Ottawa in the first round for the Bolts.
Last night's win was the first in forever for the Lightning vs the Sens! Monkey gone! Just gotta beat 'em 3 more outta 5...

Nice additions to your trade page, Meth! Really like it...and really like a few items, too. I'll get with ya in the coming weeks...
