Well, it finally happened to me after buying/selling on eBay for almost 7 years. I just had about 150 auctions end the other night and I wake up this morning to find out that I am NARU.

The e-mail didn't give a reason... just stated that I'm suspended for a minimum of 7 days. I actually thought the e-mail was a spoof since it didn't have an eBay logo or anything. Then, I found out it was for real when I tried logging into eBay. :(

I e-mailed eBay to appeal their decision, but I'm sure that will take forever to resolve. So much for having a 933 feedback rating with NO NEGATIVES. Yeah... I'm out to screw with people.

I have a feeling that the seller who sent me the damaged Lemieux card had something to do with this... as revenge for my Paypal claim. They probably reported me.

I just e-mailed all winning bidders to let them know about the situation. That was a LOT of work, but hopefully it will be worth it in the long run. I don't want my customers to feel left in the dark.

This whole situation makes me want to stop selling on eBay. I'm making THEM money and they turn around and pull this garbage.

Sorry for the rant. Just had to get this off my chest. :(

Jay,
I was NARU'd a year ago. My CC Expired and I wasnt notified until I tried to login. They accused me of trying to cancel my CC to avoid paying my sellers fees. I told them that I would list my new CC# as soon as it arrived, but I was told that I would no longer be able to sell on EBay. I could have signed up again under another account, but it really soured me. I only had about 70 positives...you having over 900 is ridiculous.

I only buy on ebay now and only form people that accept paypal.
Good luck and hopefully you get things taken care of.

Jay, saw it this morning when looking at some old auctions :( Hopefully everything will be ok and you'll be able to resolve this dispute. Good luck.

What an absolute bunch of crap. If it is that easy for someone like you to get NARU'd, then why are there so many pieces of crap left on ebay that are really out to screw people, yet ebay cares not. Ah yes, the almighty dollar has spoken true yet again. Hope you get everything straightened out, least they could have done is give you a reason

I feel your pain Jay. I just sold a card and in the description in big letters I put PAYPAL AUCTION ONLY. Guess what, the winning bidder emails me and says "Sorry, don't have paypal, is a money order ok." I guess the world will keep turning though.

I had an ebayer report me for not paying, I had won 5 items from him. I had sent him a MO but he wanted it in 5 days and canada/us post don't allow that sometimes. I explained that I was in Canada and could pay paypal but he didn't care. Gave him all the MO details but he wouldn't remove the claim(of course 3 nonpayers and you are booted out). I spent 3 months emailing and faxing stuff to ebay and I finally gave up. It was my newfiecomicguy account, same thing 200positives no negative feedbacks. I wass unhappy and avoided ebay for a while...then I set up a new account. Why should one idiot stop me from using ebay. Hope you get it resolved. Good luck.

Wow...just wow...they automatically seem to find people guilty before proven innocent...Screw eBay

That's what happens when you let retards run a corporation.

Uh..Ernie, click on his feedback score and look in the upper righthand corner ;)

Man, that ****s. Good luck with trying to fix it. From what I hear (and my own experience) Ebay CS blows.

Pure BS! That Mario seller wanted payback and put the screws to you, what gets me is ebay and there actions.. Hope it all works out..

Well, it's been several hours and no response from eBay... what a surprise. I'm sure this will take weeks to resolve. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to set up a new account and start all over again.

I'm glad to see that about 20 auction winners replied to my e-mail this morning saying that they weren't worried one bit because of my outstanding feedback record. Glad to see a few people in this world have common sense.

I'm still steaming about this.

Jay, I know EXACTLY how you feel man!! (and I don't mean how lid said he feels your pain??? That's not even close to the same thing, but anyways.....) I never ever did get anything resolved with mine and to this day I do not sell on ebay... they aren't getting any more of my money!! The Customer Service is a piece of work alright. Everything has to be dealt with through email correspondance and they don't communicate with you through email, they just send form letters back to you, not explaining anything or giving you an opportunity to say anything... its brutal. I called and talked to a woman and she said she didn't understand why I was suspended and everything should be put back to normal, but that she couldn't do it because it had to go through the email system or some BS liek that..... I sent them at least 20 emails asking why I was suspended, what prrof they had that I did something wrong, etc. and EVERY SINGLE TIME I got the EXACT email back, not explaining anything at all, just that they would not be re-activating my account, EVER!!!! Man, I am still pissed about it and it happened over 6 months ago!! Good luck with it Jay, I hope you get it figured out, and if you do, let me know how you did it!!!

Rod.
